A Chilly Day in the Pool

The weather was gorgeous on Sunday but the temperature of the water in the pool was way too chilly!  It was 76 degrees.

The hubs and I kept the grandkids while their mom and dad went to see The Avengers: Age of Ultron with Nonnie and Uncle Brad.

We started out in the pool even though the water was on the chilly cold side.  The girls really wanted to swim and Mr. W wanted to get in the water.  (He now associates going to Maw Maw's with water.  I wonder why?)

You know the water is cold if Ms. A is hanging around the steps.  :)

They tried having a war of the inner tubes....

but decided the water was just too cold.

These photos were taken with the Polaroid Dive-Rated Waterproof Camera Housing so they are not as clear.  Looks like I should have cleaned the case.

It looks like Mr. W's feet have grown a bit since last year!

You know the water is cold if Ms. A is trying to push the pool toys toward the shallow end.  We normally have to tell her several times it's time to get out of the water...but not this day!

Sweet P and Mr. W were helping Paw Paw put away the umbrella.  Not long after this photo was taken Mr. W was screaming because he had pinched his finger.  Poor baby.

We went inside and Mr. W chose the movie Air Bud.  I hadn't seen it in a really long time.  It was a really cute movie.

And of course, he was off playing hide-n-seek with his Paw Paw while we watched the movie.

Looks like he has a new place to hang out!

Mr. W helped Paw Paw put new batteries in a baby toy that has to be at least 8 years old.  And of course,  he brought the toy right in front of the TV pushing the noise button over and over.  He thought it was hilarious!  Gotta love it!!!

We had a great time keeping them.  Lots of hugs and kisses!!!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

Take care,

Debbie
