Our Christmas Eve Table

Wow....can you believe today is Christmas Eve?  I am so excited!!!  I've set the table for our birthday girl's celebration today.  The gumbo is made and needs to be heated up.  All I have left to do is put the rice going in the rice cooker.  This will be the easiest Christmas Eve meal in a very long time.  I am looking forward to having lots of fun and visiting with everyone.

I can't believe I had to make a mad dash yesterday to buy the Crackers.  I NEVER forget the Crackers.  It is a family tradition to open Crackers on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  It's important that we all look like fools wearing those silly little paper crowns and sharing the jokes and toys that are inside of them.  Thank God Home Goods still had a couple of boxes left.  Now that we have nine people in our little family I need more than one box.

I made the flower arrangements myself with roses and baby's breath from Randall's.  I usually just fill the bowl with only the roses but this year I wanted the contrast of the red and the white together.

Here are a few shots at night.  I love the red and white with touches of green.  It looks so Christmassy!!!

Hope you are having a wonderful Christmas Eve!!!

Hugs and kisses,

Debbie

  1. What a gorgeous, I mean gorgeous table. I love every detail. The POP stencil, the snowman, even the details in the napkin folding. I could look at this all day. Thanks for bringing this cheer to Christmas in July. Will be sharing your talent.

    1. You are so sweet! I am so happy you enjoyed it. Not everyone picks up on all of the little details which happen to be my favorite part. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend!
