Our Master Bedroom

Hello and thank you for stopping by.  Today I am linking up with Kelly's Korner.  She is hosting every day real life home tours and today we are sharing our master bedrooms.

Our home was built in 1989 so the master bedroom is not as big as they are today.  This created a bit of a challenge when we bought our bedroom furniture.  The side tables were huge and were not going to fit beside our bed.  So we perused the Hooker Furniture books until we came up with the pedestal table for my side and the barrel for the hubs.  Other than that, our room is plenty big enough for us.

I stumbled upon this embroidered pillow at either Home Goods or Kirklands.  It might have cost $10 and was the finishing touch for the bed.  What's one more pillow, right?  #lovethrowpillows

The flower on the lamp shade is attached by a magnet.  I love how it changes it up without the cost of a new shade.  You can find it at Hobby Lobby.  Here it is in red.  If it's not on sale for 50% off be sure and use your 40% off coupon.  :)  #lovehobbylobby

Here is our master bathroom.

And yes it looks like this every single day.

I just realized I didn't take any pics of the shower.  It is to the right of the tub.  It has the same tile as the tub and the vanity.

It wouldn't be complete without a picture of New Orleans.  :)  #loveneworleans

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope I was able to inspire you with ideas for your home.

Take care,
