Life Lately

Good morning and happy Wednesday to you!

Things have been a little busy around here lately.  Just yesterday we had the coping painted.  The color is leather and should darken up in a couple of weeks.

We had the wooden floors pulled up yesterday...

and they installed Travertine in its place.  They ran out of Quickset so they will return this morning to finish laying it and will be back later today to do the grout.  Definitely a hot mess!

All while I am decorating for Christmas.  :)  It's funny how it is usually an all or nothing kind of thing.  The coping was supposed to be repainted a couple of weeks ago but due to the crazy rain we've been getting it had to be postponed.  They will be back today to pick up their mess and things should be getting back to normal.  Well as normal as it can be around the holidays!  Oh how I love the holidays!!!
