Isn't it lovely?
The ceiling medallion is officially off the floor and on the ceiling where it belongs. I want to give a big "thank you" to Justin and the hubs for taking this task on. This project took them almost five hours to complete. Seriously. They kept running into issues but in the end they overcame them and they finished it.
While they were working with the medallion I was watching this little guy. Here he is trying to ride the little bike that I have for Mickey Mouse. :) I wish I had gotten a pic of him actually sitting on it. It was so cute! This is the only pic I got of him. I was trying to stay with him to make sure he would not make a sweep and knock down my decor!
He would run into my bedroom and try to close the door. He would laugh and laugh as he was trying to close the door. Once the door closed he ran to my Christmas tree and grabbed the lowest hanging ornament, saying "ball, ball" and would grab it and run. Of course, I knew he was doing this so I gave him a head start before I crashed his fun. He is such a mess. A cute mess.
In the past there have been times I've had the hubs work on a project for me and he hasn't expressed his opinion much. However, this one is different. Every time he goes through the breakfast room he comments how much he likes the medallion. I'm really glad about that. That means there's hope that I can get him to put another one up in the future!!! Just not the real near future! I need to give him time to get over this one.
Take care,
Debbie!! OMG!! Love the medallion!! Stunning!! Thanks so much for stopping by which lead me to your wonderful blog!!
