Over the weekend I watched the movie "Ragamuffin" on Netflix. It is about a man's struggle to overcome the trappings of success and how to learn to accept the unconditional love of God.
In the movie it says "Ragamuffins are the unsung assembly of saved sinners who are little in their own sight and aware of their brokenness and powerlessness before God. A Ragamuffin knows he is only a beggar at the door of God's mercy".
Rich Mullins wrote one of my favorite songs "Awesome God".
On judgement day our lord Jesus will ask one question and only one question,
"did you believe that I loved you?"
I hope you get a chance to see this movie if you haven't already. It makes you stop and think about the unconditional love that we are freely given on the days we are good and the days we are bad.
Take care,
