Isn't she a beauty?
Ms. J (Nelly's daughter) planted the seeds (from last year's sunflowers) between March 15th and March 30th. She planted 2-3 seeds per hole. Nelly thinned them out as they started to grow. The flowers have just recently started to bloom.
In the photo below you can see one of the flowers is really, really tall.
I have never planted seeds for my flowers. However, I am considering planting some in my beds. Do you plant flowers from seeds? If so, is there a certain brand you like over others? I'd love to learn more about this process.
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!
Take care,
