My Man is Sexy When He Cleans

How's that for a line?  Did it grab your attention? :)

We had our tub in the master bathroom re-coated last Thursday.  The cultured marble tub had seen better days and was in dire need of a makeover.  Everything in the bathroom had to be moved out so they could sand the tub down.  Most everything from the game room is in the back bedroom...what's a little more mess, right?

Fast forward to Saturday morning and the hubs is ready to get the bathroom back in order.  I don't know if I've ever shared with you how much of a neat freak he is.  It's okay, I learned to embrace it many years ago.  I like things neat and organized but I am not crazy about it.  I have learned to appreciate his need for things to be a certain way.

I was moving rather slowly as I was sore from removing the wall paper in the game room.  Thank goodness I am done with that task.  :)  So I made myself a cup of coffee (I had not had a cup of coffee in over two months) and went back into the bedroom and climbed back into the bed, propped up on the pillows.  I had a perfect view of him cleaning the lights, the mirrors, etc.  When does it ever happen that the woman is sitting down and observing the man clean, right?  That's when it hit me.  A man is most sexy when he is doing chores around the house especially when he is not asked.  I settled down into the covers and laughed out loud.  He couldn't imagine what I found so funny so I told him and he started cracking up.

We got the bathroom put back together and moved outdoors to the patio/pool area.  He cleaned the windows, pulled weeds and got the Polaris going all while I was tending to my plants that needed grooming.  Everything looked so nice when we finished.

Later that day we ran errands, stopped for Tex Mex at Gringo's and picked up a few groceries.  I thought I was home in time to swim before the rain started, then the clouds were dark and it started lightning.  I was so bummed.  We had quite the rain storm and lightning show.  Tiffani sent me a text saying they were having flashbacks of Kickapoo.  We will never forget that storm.

Well the hubs continued his goodness as he served me breakfast in bed.  How awesome is that?!!!  I was quite surprised and certainly not expecting it.  I'm usually the one surprising him breakfast in bed.
