Steamboat Bill's

While we were in Lake Charles we stayed at Shirley's (hub's mom) house.

So it's Friday afternoon and no one is coming up with a suggestion of where they wanted to eat.  Honey, I seized the opportunity and suggested we eat at Steamboat Bill's.  A coworker had eaten there recently and told me about it.  I had eaten there before many years ago and remembered the food was very good.  I was so hungry for seafood.  I could eat seafood every single day.

I chose the boiled crawfish.  They were so good!  I ate two orders...10 lbs.  Yum!

The shrimp were large.

The atmosphere is very casual.

I love this art work.  Take note of the sign "Boudreaux's Place".

They have crab paper towel holders on each table.

Shirley chose the medium fried shrimp.

The hubs chose the large fried shrimp.  They were very good.  The rolls are fried.  Similar to a beignet without the powdered sugar.

We had a great time.  We will definitely be going back on our next trip to Lake Charles.  We'll have to bring the kids there.  They will love it!
