Today I am reminiscing about our 30th wedding anniversary trip to Jamaica in May of 2018. We chose Couples Negril in Negril, Jamaica as our destination. Couples Negril is an all-inclusive resort that came highly recommended by one of the hubs' close friends. CN offers:
24 Hour Gourmet Dining

Here we are at the airport waiting for our flight.
It was raining when we arrived in Montego. The locals call it "liquid sunshine". :) Oh those Jamaicans...they are some of the happiest people I have ever met. I will always treasure our time spent with them. I look forward to going back someday!
Here are a few photos of the lobby area.
These swings are located to the side of the lobby. They are so comfy and "romantic" at night. :)
Everything was so clean.
The next three photos are looking out to the pool from the lobby...left to right.
We chose the Deluxe Ocean room. It features a partial ocean view. We stayed in room #1206. I'd gladly choose that room again. The bed was super comfy and the AC worked really good.
The room was plenty big enough.
There was a small fridge in the cabinet that came stocked with a few things.
You could make requests of whatever you wanted for your room.
The hubs had them bring us a bottle of Appleton Jamaica Rum.
At night time, the window in the shower allowed us to hear the crickets, frogs, etc. making their sounds rather loudly. It was like music to my ears. I really missed it once we got home.
Ocean 3-in-1 hair and body wash by Bath and Body Works is my favorite. OMG! It smells amazing. It's part of the men's collection but I have been known to use it (all the time).

Here's our partial ocean view. You can see the water if you look to the far left over the short palm tree. See it? :)
My favorite view from our room was the water feature near the Oasis Spa.
There were so many options when it came to choosing something to drink. They had a menu with lots and lots of drink names on it for you to choose from. Here's one side....
and here's the other. Everyone at the bar was always offering up suggestions of their favorite drink for you to try.
Cassava Terrace served breakfast, lunch and dinner. Once again, you had so many options to choose from.
These are the only two pics I took in the Cassava Terrace. I don't remember if this was for lunch or dinner. There were so many choices for appetizers, soups, entrees and desserts.
The Beach Grill was open for lunch which changed over to Heliconia for dinner. During the day there were salads, pizza, hot dogs, Jerk chicken, chips and cheese and ice cream. The food was delicious! Here it is set up for dinner.
They have an awesome Fruit and Veggie Bar. They serve fresh juice of the day, fruit smoothies, veggie dips, salads, sandwiches and coconut water.
We had dinner one night at their Asian restaurant Lychee. The food was so good!
The only restaurant you have to dress up for is Otaheite. It is set in an intimate and elegant setting and reservations are required. The food is delicious and the crab cakes were amazing!!!
Here's a pic of us waiting to go in Otaheite. It's not a very big restaurant so they only seat about 10 couples.
Here's a pic of our table. Very romantic. :)
The service was second to none! Every employee's goal is to make sure you have a good time.
The hubs and I chose to have a couples massage in the Tree House. It was amazing!!!
We were in the Tree House behind those curtains.
Here's a view looking towards the pool.
This is right outside the Oasis Spa.
There was a nice surprise waiting for us every afternoon we returned to our room.
I hope you enjoyed hearing about Couples Negril. Be sure and stop by tomorrow for Part 2.
Take care and have a wonderful day!
xoxoxo
